Community Guidelines
Last updated: July 2026
The Salori community — the global Salori Community feed and each trip cohort — is a place to connect with fellow travellers, ask questions and share experiences. These guidelines keep it safe, respectful and lawful. They apply alongside our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. By taking part you agree to follow them.
1. You must be 18 or older
Community participation is limited to adults aged 18 and above. We ask you to confirm your age when you join the conversation.
2. What is not allowed
Do not post, share or link to content that is:
- Obscene, pornographic or sexually explicit.
- Harmful to children in any way — content that sexualises, endangers or exploits a minor is strictly forbidden and will be preserved and reported to law enforcement.
- Harassing, bullying, hateful, threatening or an invasion of another person's privacy.
- Impersonating another person or misrepresenting your identity.
- Spam, scams, unsolicited advertising or off-topic promotion.
- Unlawful, defamatory, or infringing someone else's intellectual property.
3. Moderation & removal
Salori may remove any content that breaches these guidelines and may restrict or suspend accounts that do so repeatedly, in line with Rule 3(1)(b) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. Removed content is retained for audit and appeals; content relating to child sexual abuse is preserved and escalated for mandatory reporting and is never simply deleted.
4. Reporting & blocking
Every post and reply has a Report control — use it to flag anything that breaks these rules. You can also Block a member so you no longer see their posts. Sexual, impersonation and child-safety reports are prioritised against a 24-hour takedown timeline.
5. Your privacy
When you join, your name and posts are visible to other members of that community. You may delete your own posts at any time, and you can ask us to erase your account and content in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6. Raising a grievance
If you believe content breaches these guidelines or the law — including if you are not a Salori user — you can contact our Grievance Officer through the Grievance Redressal page. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.
