These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your booking and use of travel packages, tours, adventure trips, and retreats (“Travel Services”) and Physical and Wellness activities along with Cultural, Lifestyle, Avocation and Recreational Activities (“Other Services”) offered by Salori Life LLP (“we,” “us,” “our”, “Salori Life”).
- By making a booking, signing up for a membership, or using our website or app, you (“you,” “client,” “guest”, “traveller,” or “member”) confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are booking or registering on behalf of others, you confirm you have the authority to bind them and that they too have agreed to these Terms. Salori Life LLP has the final authority on the interpretation of these ‘Terms and Conditions’.
- We reserve the right to amend, vary, add, amplify or waive any stipulation, representation, term or condition mentioned in the ‘Terms and Conditions’.
- Under any unprecedented force majeure situation or any changes in Government policy, we reserve the right to supersede any part of these ‘Terms and Conditions’ with an alternate and valid enforceable provision.
- Each of these ‘Terms and Conditions’ shall be severable and if any provision thereof is declared invalid, illegal or unenforceable, then remaining provisions nevertheless shall have full force & effect.
- These ‘Terms and Conditions’, together with the other booking related terms/ communication sent periodically, represent the entire agreement between Salori Life LLP and you.
- There is no agreement between the Salori Life LLP and you until Salori Life LLP has received the initial registration amount/ deposit as the case may be.
1. Our Role
- For Travel Services, we act as an agent arranging travel arrangements on your behalf with third-party suppliers (hotels, transport operators, local guides, and tour operators) unless we are expressly identified as the principal tour operator for a specific package.
- We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, financial failure, or service quality of independent third-party suppliers, except where required by law or where we act as principal.
- For Fitness Services, we provide access to facilities, classes, equipment, and/or trainers directly or through affiliated studios and partner trainers.
- Product descriptions are sourced in part from third-party suppliers and may not be fully accurate; we take reasonable care but cannot verify all such information. We reserve the right to correct errors without liability. Please confirm all material details with our sales team before booking.
2. Booking, Eligibility, and Accuracy of Information
- A booking or membership is confirmed only once we issue a written confirmation and the required payment has been received, in line with our Payment Policy.
- You must provide complete and accurate personal information, including correct name spelling as per your government-issued ID. For domestic Indian bookings, the name must match your Aadhaar card; for international bookings, it must match your passport exactly. Name correction after confirmation may incur charges or denial of boarding for which we are not liable. As per the circular issued under RBI regulations, submission of PAN for domestic as well as international tours is mandatory.
- Documents required at the time of booking: valid Aadhaar card and PAN for domestic tours; valid passport (minimum 6 months validity beyond travel dates) and PAN card for international tours.
- Travel Services bookings generally require participants to be at least 18 years of age, or accompanied by a parent or guardian who accepts these Terms on their behalf. Parent or guardian NOC may be required for minors applying for international visas.
- Every guest must mandatorily provide accurate and complete Emergency Contact details at the time of booking. The following information is required:
- Full Name of the Emergency Contact Person
- Relationship with the Guest
- Country of Residence of the Emergency Contact Person
- Correct Country Code and Mobile Number
These details must be provided on the booking form and must be verified before tour departure. We shall rely solely upon the Emergency Contact information provided by the guest for communication in the event of any medical emergency, hospitalization, accident, legal situation, or any other unforeseen circumstance during the tour.
Any delay, difficulty, or inability to establish contact arising from incomplete, incorrect, or unverified Emergency Contact information provided by the guest shall not be the responsibility of Salori Life. Salori Life shall not be held liable for any consequences resulting from the same.
Guests travelling alone, particularly senior citizens, are especially advised to ensure that their Emergency Contact person is reachable at all times and is aware of the guest's travel schedule.
- Fitness Services may require a health/medical declaration; participants with relevant pre-existing conditions should consult a physician before enrolling.
- We reserve the right to accept, decline, or cancel any booking without assigning a reason, and to establish specific eligibility criteria for tour categories such as Women’s Special, Honeymoon Special, Family Tours, or Adventure programs.
3. Payments, Pricing, and Forex
- Payment terms, deposits, balance due dates, surcharges, and accepted payment methods are set out in our Payment Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
- To book any tour/ package/ service, guest must make the payment to Salori Life by cash, cheque, NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, Payment app/ wallets like BHIM, PhonePe, Gpay, PayTM or any UPI ID. All payments should be in the name of “Salori Life LLP” only. We support ‘Go Digital’ movement of India and request our guests to make digital payments. Cash payment in INR will be accepted as per the Government of India guidelines along with PAN.
- In case of payments made using Credit Card, Debit Card and Online Transfer, convenience charge of 1.8% shall be levied and will be paid extra by the guest. However, convenience charge of 2% will be charged on Amex, Dinners and International Cards.
- For international tour packages, a portion of the tour price may be denominated in foreign currency (“forex component”). The forex component is calculated based on the exchange rate prevailing at the time of booking and is subject to change until full payment is received.
- TCS (Tax Collected at Source) on overseas remittances will be applicable as per prevailing Indian tax law and will be collected from the guest at the time of payment of the forex component.
- Any applicable refund for both domestic and international tours will be processed in Indian Rupees via A/C payee cheque, NEFT, or RTGS only — no cash refunds will be made, even if the original payment included a foreign currency component.
- If EMI facilities are offered through bank or financial institution partners, such arrangements are governed solely by the respective bank’s or institution’s terms and conditions. Any dispute, interest charge, or processing fee related to the EMI is between you and the bank; we bear no liability for the same. In the event of tour cancellation, applicable cancellation charges will be deducted before any refund is processed to the bank.
- The Company reserves the right to alter or amend the price published on the website/ brochure/ proposal in case of increase in taxes, fuel charge, YQ/YR taxes, visa fee, unprecedented foreign exchange fluctuation etc., which will have to be borne by the guest and to be paid before the departure.
- Tour price does not include government taxes, which must be paid additionally. As per current regulations, 5% GST (Goods and Services Tax) applies to all tours/packages. Additionally, effective 1st October 2020, the Government of India has introduced Tax Collected at Source (TCS) on the GST-inclusive price of international tour packages. Guests who provide valid and operative PAN are charged 2% TCS. Others will be charged 5%, depending on the Status of PAN. Once collected, the TCS amount is non-refundable as it is paid directly to the Government. It will reflect in the Form 26AS/168 of the guest (Bill To/ Sponsor) in whose name the invoice is raised, regardless of who made the payment. Hence while booking, guests must ensure that the Bill To is selected properly in order to claim the benefit at later stage.
TCS Certificate (Form 27D/133) will be emailed by Salori Life LLP as per quarterly deadlines:
- TCS collected in April to June → Issued by 31st July
- TCS collected in July to September → Issued by 31st October
- TCS collected in October to December → Issued by 31st January
- TCS collected in January to March → Issued by 31st May
- The certificate will be sent to the email ID provided in your guest profile and can be used while filing your income tax return.
- The TCS is not applicable in case of corporates, who possess TAN (Tax deduction & collection account number) and claims TDS while making their tour/package payment. Further upon submission of TAN, the Corporate/Individual needs to comply with TDS rules and ensure that TDS is paid in the name of Salori Life LLP (PAN: ___________).
4. What Is Included and Excluded
4.1 Generally included (subject to specific tour details)
- Accommodation on twin-sharing basis as per the itinerary
- Transfers and transportation as specified in the tour program
- Listed sightseeing and entry fees as per the itinerary
- Meals as specified (see Section 4.3)
- Tour manager or local representative where indicated
This list is illustrative and not a complete list and includes all the other inclusions as mentioned in the itinerary of the respective tour.
4.2 Generally excluded (unless explicitly stated otherwise)
- International and domestic airfare (unless stated as ‘air-inclusive’)
- Airport and port taxes, fuel surcharges, or airline-imposed fees
- Travel insurance
- Personal expenses — laundry, telephone, minibar, room service, tips/gratuities
- Optional excursions or activities not listed in the itinerary
- Porterage, excess baggage charges
- Expense incurred in case of discontinuation of the tour for any reason.
- Any cost arising from changes in government regulations, health requirements, or force majeure events
4.3 Meals and dietary requirements
- Meals are provided as per the meal plan specified for the tour (e.g., half-board — breakfast and one main meal; full-board — all three meals; breakfast only). The meal type for each tour is stated in the tour details.
- We endeavour to accommodate dietary preferences (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, religious dietary requirements) but cannot guarantee their availability at all destinations, hotels, or restaurants on the itinerary. Guests with strict dietary needs are advised to carry supplementary food.
- Indian vegetarian/non-vegetarian meal options are mentioned in the tour program where available; availability may vary by destination.
- A baby meal generally includes milk, plain dal and rice. We recommend that guests with very young kids should carry their regular baby food if needed.
- Any missed meal due to any personal reason of the guest will not be substituted or compensated.
- While we endeavour to select good quality restaurants for meals, we do not have a direct control over their operations in terms of food, hygiene, sanitation facilities etc., and Salori Life is not responsible for any deficiency in the quality and service of the same. No complaints/ claims in this respect shall be entertained.
5. Accommodation
- Hotels are selected to offer comfort and value appropriate to the tour category. Star ratings are used to symbolise the overall quality, level of service, and facilities at a property; the criteria applied within each country vary depending on the requirements of the relevant local issuing body and may not be directly comparable to Indian star ratings.
- All accommodation is on a twin-sharing basis, unless specified otherwise (or as opted). Triple-sharing rooms consist of a standard twin room with an additional rollaway bed and may be smaller than anticipated. Single supplements are available at an additional charge.
- Single rooms are comparatively smaller in size and may be located on a different floor or in a corner of the hotel.
- Assignment of rooms to an individual or a group is at the discretion of hotel/ associate/ supplier providing said service and is not controlled by Salori Life.
- It is a common practice amongst hotels in India and around the world that check-in time for travellers is 3 p.m. and check-out time is 10 am. Our tour programs and itineraries are planned accordingly. Guests should be aware that even if we reach the destination early in the morning, we cannot check-in to the hotel and in that case we will try to complete one or more sightseeing/s before check-in.
- If individual guests on their own want to check-in early or check-out late, s/he can request the same and avail it subject to availability by paying an additional charge.
- Single (solo) guest sharing a room with other guest will have to abide by the room sharing policy of Salori Life, which is sent on the guests registered email ID upon booking the tour. Any issues such as misunderstanding between room sharing partners, damage/ loss of personal items or hotel property etc. is the sole responsibility of the sharing partner/s and must be resolved between them. Salori Life is not responsible for the same.
- Any room sharing partner resorting to harmful/ unhygienic/ intolerable behaviour will be compelled to take a separate room immediately on tour by paying additional single occupancy room charge.
- Any damages caused to the hotel rooms/ type of accommodation during the stay, shall be borne by the guest and has to be paid immediately or before check-out. If guests find any pre-existing damage in the room, it should be immediately brought to the notice of the hotel staff and/ or Salori Life Tour Manager. Salori Life is not responsible for such losses in any form or liable to pay any charges.
- Salori Life shall not be liable for any disruption of any of the services, facilities and amenities offered at the hotel or accommodation type as well as deficiency in service including unprofessional behaviour of hotel staff as it does not come under the direct purview of Salori Life.
- In many accommodation types located in natural surroundings especially tents, camps, safari lodges, beach resorts etc., insects like ants & cockroaches in the room and birds, monkeys, small animals and the occasional rodent sighting around the room or hotel grounds are almost inevitable. It should by no means be taken as a sign of dirtiness, as it is simply a fact of life in these destinations/ locations
- Room type (sea-facing, higher floor, specific building) cannot be guaranteed; such requests are on a request basis only and are subject to hotel availability at check-in.
- We reserve the right to substitute accommodation with a property of equivalent category if the listed hotel is unavailable, without prior notice and without additional charge.
6. Transportation and Road Travel
- The type of vehicle provided for road transfers is determined by group size and destination, and will be communicated in advance or in the tour details.
- Specific seat numbers or positions in coaches/vehicles cannot be reserved or guaranteed. Seating is on a first-come-first-served basis or at the tour manager’s discretion.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, road conditions, weather, or decisions of transport operators.
- Guest/s or a group of guests can opt for separate vehicle for their family or upgrade the vehicle type or request for tempo traveller/ mini coach/ big coach for their family/ group at an additional cost, subject to availability.
- Coach captain/ vehicle driver plays a vital role in the successful operation of the tour. Guests are requested to treat them with respect and be aware of the driving rules like maximum daily-weekly driving hours, their rest period.
- It is the duty of the guest to be punctual and abide by the day’s schedule and complete the sightseeing/ program as per the itinerary. In case if any guest does not report to the coach at the given time, the coach will proceed to the next point/destination in the programme and the guest will have to join the group at the next point/destination on their own, expenses of which will be borne by them.
- To maintain the comfort and safety of the group, there is a strict ‘no smoking’, ‘no alcohol’, and ‘no eating’ policy in the vehicle. Guests are requested to adhere to the same.
- On tours there is a possibility of failure of a vehicle or its air conditioner; in such case we will try to find a feasible solution at the earliest. Salori Life is not responsible for such mechanical failure and is not liable for any compensation.
- While on tour, upkeep of the coach is essential. If the interior or exterior of the coach is accidently or otherwise spoiled / damaged by the guest, s/he will be required to pay the charges/ compensation for the same to the coach company immediately.
- Salori Life will not be liable for any refund to guests for missed sightseeing due to unforeseen circumstances like demonstrations on road, landslides, road closures, traffic jams etc.
7. Tour Manager and On-Trip Authority
- Where a tour manager or group leader is assigned, their on-trip decisions on operational, logistical, and safety matters are final and binding. Guests are required to follow the tour manager’s instructions, particularly in situations involving safety, health, local law, or the smooth running of the group program. To make the tour most enjoyable, guests are advised to follow the instructions given by the Tour Manager regarding tour schedule, safety precautions, clothing, things to carry, meals, sightseeing information, local etiquette, do’s and don’ts etc. Tour Manager is not responsible for any instructions ignored/ overruled by the guest/s and its consequences.
- The tour manager has the authority to alter itineraries, change departure times, or modify arrangements as required by circumstances on the ground, including weather, traffic, supplier issues, or safety concerns. No refund or compensation is payable for such on-trip changes.
- The tour manager may require a guest to leave the tour if their conduct endangers the safety or well-being of others or breaches the Code of Conduct set out in Section 14. In such cases, no refund will be provided for unused services.
- Guests are requested to treat the Tour Managers respectfully as they are doing their level best to accomplish the tour with great success. Any on-tour service issue/ complaint should be immediately brought to the notice of the Tour Manager by the guests so that a solution can be obtained and the issue can be resolved.
- Though the Tour Managers are at the service of the guests on tour, they are not responsible for any theft/ loss/ damage to guest’s personal belongings and any injury or accident caused to the guest. Since the Tour Manager has to manage the entire group and complete the tour program as per the itinerary, s/he will not be able to accompany the guest/s personally or stay back with them in case of emergency. However, s/he will guide the guest/s for further process or for lodging the complaint with local authorities. Any expense incurred due to the same will be borne by the guest/s.
- If guest’s personal belonging is lost and found after departing from that destination, then the guest will have to make arrangements to bring it back via courier service and bear the expenses for the same. Salori Life or it’s Tour managers are not responsible to get back the lost & found item from any destination.
- For smooth operation and clarity of instructions, along with verbal communication, Salori Life’s Tour Manager will create a WhatsApp group of its guests on the second day of the tour (In rare cases due to unavailability of internet this may not be possible). This group would be created solely for sharing tour related instructions and next day’s tour program. In case any guest has an objection of being a part of this WhatsApp group, then s/he should intimate the Tour Manager immediately for necessary action.
- On group tours the language of communication is Hindi and English. Tour Managers communicate in Hindi and/or English. On international tours all local guides, local hosts, ship crew, hotel representative etc. speak english. Guests are expected to be conversant with these two languages. In case any guest is unfamiliar with these two languages, Tour Managers will do their level best to make the guest/s comfortable and understand the tour program.
- Salori Life’s Tour Managers shall not be responsible for and extend any assistance to alter or amend the following:
- Itinerary and its inclusions in normal conditions, as they are pre-decided by Salori Life.
- Flight seat allotment, as it is at the discretion of the airline.
- Coach seat allotment, as it is assigned as per the booking date priority.
- Room allotment, as it is at the discretion of the hotel.
- Any missed sightseeing, if timings are not adhered to by the guest/s.
- The Tour Managers are under the contractual obligation of Salori Life and accordingly are required to provide highest quality of services on Tour. However, Salori Life shall only be liable for the act of Tour Managers which are related to the Salori Life tours and Salori Life shall not be responsible for any act done by him/her at their personal level. Guest are advised to refrain themselves from engaging in any kind of monetary or otherwise transactions with Tour Mangers in their personal capacity.
- In the event of a medical emergency, hospitalization, accident, or demise of a guest during the tour, the Tour Manager's primary responsibility is to ensure immediate on-ground assistance and to initiate the escalation process as per Salori Life's prescribed procedure. The Tour Manager shall promptly inform Salori Life's Guest Relations Team and provide all necessary information to facilitate coordination with the guest's family, insurance company, local authorities, hospitals, and embassy/consulate, as applicable.
Upon confirmation that the Guest Relations Team and other concerned parties have been engaged and are actively coordinating the matter, the Tour Manager shall resume his/her duties towards the remaining group and continue the tour as per the scheduled itinerary. The Tour Manager shall remain available for any reasonable assistance required by the Guest Relations Team during the tour, without compromising the interests and well-being of the remaining guests.
8. Join & Leave (J/L) / Ex-Destination Guests
Guests who do not wish to travel from the tour’s home departure point may join the group at the first destination or leave before the last destination (“Join & Leave” or “ex-destination” guests). The following conditions apply:
- An ex-destination price (‘without air’ price) will apply; the guest is responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from the joining and leaving points.
- Any costs arising from the guest’s independent travel — including visa requirements for transit countries — are entirely the guest’s responsibility.
- The guest must notify us at the time of booking of their joining and leaving points so that accommodation and transfers can be arranged accordingly.
- Unused services arising from a guest joining late or leaving early are non-refundable.
9. Travel Insurance
Travel Insurance:
- All the guests travelling within India or overseas must possess Travel Insurance. For international tours, overseas travel insurance is included in the tour price for the guests below 59 years of age. Guests above 59 years of age will have to pay the difference in insurance premium. This insurance has a limited cover which includes loss of baggage, flight delays/ cancellation, hospitalization, death, repatriation, evacuation etc. to a certain extent. Few adventure activities which are part of the tour itinerary may or may not be covered in the insurance policy.
- Insurance copy is sent to the guests on their registered email ID before the tour departure and guests should verify all their personal details on the same and also be aware of the coverage under policy. It is mandatory for guests to carry their insurance copy on tour and present the same to the authorities when asked for. Overseas travel insurance does not cover any pre-existing disease/s. Guests who wish to upgrade their travel insurance for more/higher coverage, can do so by paying an additional premium. Contact Salori Life Representative for the same.
- Any guest taking pre or post tour extension should extend the existing insurance policy by paying the required additional premium charge. In case of Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) or foreign nationals, insurance will have to be obtained by the individuals on their own before joining the tour.
- In case of any incident leading to insurance claim, it is mandatory for the guest to intimate the Insurance Company and Salori Life within 24 hours.
- Overseas travel insurance policy is at the sole discretion of the respective insurance company. Salori Life is just a facilitator who does not have any control over their operations or the claim process. Guests will have to directly communicate with the insurance company and provide necessary documents asked for the claim settlement. Any grant or rejection of the claim will be solely the decision of the insurance company and Salori Life is not responsible for the same. Any dispute arising about adequacy of settlement amount or rejection of claim should be directly dealt with the Insurance Company by the guests.
- Guests travelling to international destinations under Customized Holidays or Corporate Tours (MICE) will have to purchase their travel insurance separately on their own either through Salori Life or any of their resources.
- Foreign nationals or NRI guests arriving in India on an Inbound Tour or any Group Tour, need to purchase their travel insurance separately on their own before starting the journey.
10. Visa, Travel Documents, and Passport
- You are solely responsible for ensuring you hold a valid passport, visas, vaccination certificates, and all other travel documents required for your itinerary, including transit visas. The granting of a visa is entirely at the discretion of the relevant consulate or embassy; we assist with documentation but cannot guarantee visa approval. Visa may be rejected for reasons the consulate may or may not disclose, and we bear no liability for rejection, including any costs of cancellation or alternative arrangements.
- Passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months beyond the intended date of return. All passport details and other personal information must be verified carefully at the time of booking; incorrect details may lead to denial of boarding, deportation, or tour cancellation, for all costs of which the guest is solely liable.
- We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, emergency evacuation, baggage loss, and supplier insolvency. If you decline travel insurance, you acknowledge that you accept the risk of losses that such coverage would have addressed. A separate Travel Insurance Waiver Acknowledgement may be required at the time of booking.
11. Baggage and Personal Belongings
- We are not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of baggage or personal belongings at any point during a tour, including in hotels, vehicles, airports, or public spaces.
- Airline baggage allowances (cabin and check-in) vary by airline and fare class and are stated in your air ticket. Excess baggage charges are entirely the guest’s responsibility.
- Guests are advised to carry all valuables in their hand luggage or cabin baggage and to purchase appropriate travel insurance to cover loss of or damage to belongings.
- As per the immigration/ customs/ government/ community laws, guests are not allowed to possess or carry any illegal or restricted items such as narcotic drugs, weapons, ammunition, explosives etc. and if found, it will lead to discontinuation of the tour and guest may have to face legal action whatsoever it may be according to the law of the land.
12. Health, Health Protocols, and Fitness Participation
- You confirm that you are medically fit to undertake the tour or fitness program booked and have disclosed any pre-existing conditions that may affect your participation. We reserve the right to request a medical certificate for certain high-altitude, adventure, or physically demanding programs.
- You are responsible for complying with all health, vaccination, and entry requirements of the destination country or state at the time of travel, including any COVID-19 or other health-related protocols. Any costs incurred — tests, quarantine, documentation — are entirely your responsibility. Requirements are subject to change and we recommend verifying them immediately before departure.
- We do not recommend travel during pregnancy. The Company does not provide any specialized facilities and/or treatments required for childbirth, prenatal, or early infant care on tour. Guest should consider the risks of traveling where necessary medical care for pregnancy may not be available and may not be reachable in a timely manner to address potential medical complications, problems, and emergencies that can occur during pregnancy.
- For Fitness Services: participants with relevant pre-existing medical conditions should obtain medical clearance before enrolling. The agency is not liable for any injury or health event arising from participation in fitness activities.
- An infant is defined as a child below 24 months of age at both departure and return. If the child turns 2 during the tour, child fare will apply. A valid age proof must be provided at booking and carried during travel. Infants must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Meals are not included unless specified, and parents are advised to carry necessary baby food or formula. Tour activities are designed for guests above 5 years; infant participation is at parental discretion. Parents are responsible for the infant’s health and safety throughout the journey. The company is not liable for delays, cancellations, or issues arising due to the infant’s condition. Any special requests must be made in advance and are subject to availability and extra charges.
- In the event of a guest's hospitalization, accident, serious illness, or demise during the tour, Salori Life shall provide reasonable assistance and coordinate with local authorities, hospitals, insurance providers, embassies/consulates, and the guest's family members, wherever applicable.
- The Tour Manager shall immediately provide the required on-ground support and initiate the escalation process as per Salori Life's prescribed internal procedure. Once the matter has been escalated and the Guest Relations Team, insurance provider, local authorities, and the guest's family have been duly informed and engaged, the Tour Manager shall continue with the remaining tour itinerary and group as scheduled. The welfare and safety of the remaining guests on tour shall not be compromised under any circumstances.
- All further coordination relating to the affected guest — including but not limited to communication with family members, the insurance company, hospitals, local authorities, embassy/consulate, and other relevant service providers — shall be managed by Salori Life's Guest Relations Team in conjunction with the concerned agencies.
Limitation of Responsibility — Emergency Contact Information
- Salori Life's ability to extend timely assistance during any medical or other emergency is directly dependent on the accuracy of the Emergency Contact details provided by the guest at the time of booking. Salori Life shall not be held responsible for any delay in contacting the next of kin or any consequential loss or inconvenience arising from incorrect, incomplete, or unverified Emergency Contact information furnished by the guest.
13. Cancellations, Changes, and Refund Policy
- For any tour or package the services are booked or blocked several months in advance, cancellation of such services earmarked for a particular departure results in forfeiture of money depending upon the time of cancellation of services with the supplier. Therefore cancellation fees and refund/credit eligibility for Travel Services are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy and generally scale with proximity to the departure date.
- The request for cancellation of any service/ tour has to be submitted in writing, clearly stating the reason for cancellation via email or via any other official means.
- Once the booking is cancelled, it cannot be reinstated. Any reversal/ re-booking will be treated as fresh booking and additional charges may apply.
- Cancellation done by/ for/ due to:
a. Guest cancels the tour due to any personal reason: After booking guest may have any personal reason like non sanction of leave, exam postponement, illness, family emergency etc. which leads to cancellation of their tour/ package. Date of the cancellation request email sent by the guest (unless decision withheld or changed), will be considered as the date of cancellation and the cancellation charge will be applicable accordingly.
b. Considering the safety of the tourists, Salori Life is compelled to postpone/ reschedule the tour under force majeure situation or due to uncontrollable factors at the destination, however guest/s do not wish to continue and cancel the tour:
- Salori Life reserves the right to cancel/ postpone/ re-schedule any tour under force majeure situation like natural calamity, epidemic, pandemic, terrorist activities, political unrest, curfews, local riots, government orders etc. or uncontrollable factors like airline operation/ schedule change, disruption due to political/ sports/ local/ VIP event etc. at the destination considering the safety of the tourists.
- Under any such force majeure situation/ uncontrollable factors, no refund - fully or partially will be applicable. As refund is not applicable, guest will be required to choose the next possible future date of the same tour. If there is any price difference for the future tour, guests will have to pay the same before the tour departure.
- To reschedule the tour in force majeure situation/ uncontrollable factors, Salori Life will send the request to all the concerned associates like airlines, hoteliers, transporters etc. for their cooperation and assistance in postponement of the services. In case these associates are not in a positon to consider the request, then actual cancellation charges may apply.
- If guest wants to change the destination, then decision will depend on the cooperation of the associates like airlines, hoteliers, transporters etc. Such a decision will require time and will be given as early as possible. If the selected tour’s price is more, then guest will have to pay the difference before the tour departure. In case the tour price is less, then the remaining amount will be kept in a credit shell with Salori Life. No refund is applicable for the credit shell.
- Guest cancels the tour due to non-acceptance of change in itinerary/ service: For the betterment of the itinerary or under unforeseen situation, Salori Life reserves the right to add/ delete/ exchange the sightseeing place/s or any other service and on this ground guest will not be able to withdraw from the tour. In this case if the additional sightseeing or service requires extra charge then it will have to be paid by the guest. If any guest is not willing to accept the said change, then guest will have to cancel the tour and cancellation charges as per the Cancellation Policy will be applicable.
- Deemed Cancellation - Guest’s booking stands cancelled due to visa rejection/ delay: Rejection/ delay of visa will lead to deemed cancellation and the booking will stand cancelled without any intimation or confirmation from the Guest. Visa rejection date will be considered as the date of cancellation and the cancellation charge will be applicable accordingly. Guest can re-apply by paying additional visa charges, however granting of visa is at the discretion of the respective Consulates and Salori Life will not be responsible for the same.
- If visa is not granted even for the second time, the cancellation charge will be based on the date of the rejection of the second visa application. If no intimation of visa (granted/ rejected) is received from the respective consulate/ embassy before the tour departure, then it is considered as deemed cancellation and cancellation charge will be applicable.
In case of ‘group booking’, if visa of an individual in a group is rejected or delayed and the rest of the group cancels the tour then cancellation charges as mentioned in the Cancellation Policy shall be applicable to the entire group.
When visa is received from consulate, it’s copy is sent to the guest via email by Salori Life, however sometimes consulates dispatch the passports directly to the guest’s residence. In both the cases it is the responsibility of the guest to check the visa sticker/visa copy and verify that the personal details and visa validity is accurate. Due to any incorrect details, if the immigration office does not allow the guest to leave or enter the country, then Salori Life will not be responsible for any refund / losses / consequences.
In certain cases, where air ticket/ visa is processed more than 91 days in advance, there along with regular tour cancellation charges, additional actual charges on account of air/visa fees will be applicable.
- Deemed Cancellation - Guest’s booking stands cancelled due to the non-payment of partial/ full tour price: Guest is required to pay full tour price at the time of booking/ 60 days/ 45 days prior to the tour departure date. If the payment is not received during the mentioned time frame, then Salori Life reserves the right to cancel the booking without any written notification from the guest and forfeit the paid amount. In case of Antarctica Tour, tour price must be paid in full 90 days before departure.
In such case, Salori Life’s cancellation notice date will be treated as the deemed cancellation date and cancellation charges will apply as per the Cancellation Policy.
- Deemed Cancellation - Guest’s booking stands cancelled due to ‘No show’ or absence on Day 1 of the tour: If any guest fails to join the tour on day one, it is termed as ‘No Show’ and will be treated as deemed cancellation and no refund will be applicable. All services will stand cancelled and 100% cancellation charges will be applicable, unless the guest notifies Salori Life about joining the same tour later at their own expense.
- Deemed Cancellation - Guest’s tour stands cancelled due to discontinuation from ongoing tour:
If Guest discontinues/ terminates the tour for any personal reason, it is termed as deemed cancellation and no refund will be applicable. Salori Life team will assist the guest to book the required services, however all expenses for the same will have to be paid by the guest immediately in advance.
- Single (Solo) Guest sharing a room with other guest, cancels the tour:
Single guest should ideally book on speciality tours such as Women's Special/ Seniors Special/ Adventure Special etc., where Salori Life guarantees a room partner and guest saves on the single occupancy charge. If a single guest is travelling alone on a regular tour, then s/he will have to pay single occupancy charge. If s/he gets a room partner (similar gender) for the tour and shares the twin/ double room for all tour days, then the single occupancy charge will be refunded to the guest within 10 working days of tour completion.
- In case of cancellation by one of the room sharing partners, no refund of single occupancy charge is applicable.
- In all the above situations, the following cancellation charges will be applicable:

Right of Admission and Termination:
Salori Life reserves the right to deny any booking or cancel the accepted booking of any guest without divulging any reason or giving any justification. This includes but is not limited to ensuring the appropriateness of group composition based on the nature of the tour.
Salori Life reserves the right to terminate the tour of any guest while on tour if the guest does not follow the group tour decorum or misbehaves/ create nuisance to the co-passengers/ Tour Manager/ coach captain/ local citizens/ officials etc. Under such circumstance guest will have to make arrangements for their return travel on their own and no refund is applicable.
Merging of Tours:
Salori Life reserves the right to merge two or multiple tours when there is inadequate participation of the guests in a single tour or for any operational reason. Seat allocation in the coach will happen as per the booking date priority of the merged tours. We reserve the right to amend itineraries, accommodation, instructors, class schedules, or trip details due to operational necessity, safety, or circumstances beyond our control.
- Minimum group size: if the minimum number of guests required to operate a group tour is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the tour. In such cases, a full refund of the amount paid will be processed within [25] working days of cancellation notification.
- Guaranteed Departure: where a tour departure is marked as ‘guaranteed,’ this refers to the operation of the tour on the stated dates. It does not guarantee visa approvals, which are solely at the discretion of the relevant consulate.
- All applicable refunds will be processed in Indian Rupees via NEFT/RTGS/A/C payee cheque within [25] working days of confirmation of cancellation, net of applicable cancellation charges.
14. Assumption of Risk and Code of Conduct
14.1 Assumption of risk
You acknowledge that travel and physical fitness activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to illness or injury, accidents, exposure to unfamiliar environments and infrastructure, extreme weather, altitude-related conditions, civil unrest, and limited access to medical facilities in remote destinations, as well as physical strain or cardiac events associated with exercise. You voluntarily and knowingly assume these risks, both known and unknown, in choosing to participate in our Travel and Fitness Services.
14.2 Code of conduct
- You agree to behave respectfully toward fellow travelers/members, guides, trainers, staff, local communities, and cultural and religious sites, and to comply with the rules of any facility, vehicle, or accommodation used during your program.
- Consumption of alcohol or controlled substances during a group tour must not interfere with the safety or enjoyment of other guests. The tour manager may require a guest to leave the tour at their own cost if conduct endangers safety or violates local law.
- You agree to follow all local laws, customs, and government regulations at the destination. Any legal consequences of non-compliance are entirely your own responsibility.
- As per the immigration/ customs/ government/ community laws, guests are not allowed to possess or carry any illegal or restricted items such as narcotic drugs, weapons, ammunition, explosives etc. and if found, it will lead to discontinuation of the tour and guest may have to face legal action whatsoever it may be according to the law of the land.
- Guests should follow Tour Manager’s instructions and maintain punctuality. Any missed sightseeing or service due to any delay on guest’s part will be the sole responsibility of the guest and any expense or loss incurred due to the same, will have to be borne by the guests.
- While on tour it is everyone’s responsibility to take care of private as well as public property, any expense or penalty incurred due to the damage caused by the guest/s (knowingly or unknowingly) to the hotel property/ aircraft/ train/ cruise/ coach/ sightseeing attraction etc., will have to be borne by the guest/s and is to be settled immediately.
- Any inconvenience faced by the guest/s on tour should be immediately brought to the notice of the Tour Manager so that a solution can be sought from the concerned officials wherever possible.
- Guests should be aware that during their participation in the tours operated by Salori Life, certain risks and dangers may arise beyond our control, including but not limited to: the hazards of traveling in undeveloped areas with narrow roads, ghats, low oxygen levels; travel by boat/ train/ automobile/ aircraft etc.; forces of nature; political unrest; acts of unlawfulness or terrorism; animal interaction; hazardous local customs and practices; differing levels of sanitation; differing standards of safety; risks associated with water, air, fire, food, plants, insects and differing animal regulation; accident or illness in areas lacking means of rapid evacuation or medical facilities; acts of national and local governments and unrest and acts of others against governments. These risks are not an exhaustive list but are examples of many kinds of risks. You are voluntarily participating in these activities with the knowledge that there are significant dangers involved, and you hereby agree to accept any and all risks.
- If the guest/s do not wish to or not allowed to visit a country or part of a country intended to be visited because of any law, condition or requirement of any governmental authority then these guests are solely responsible for any missed visit, loss, damage, costs incurred etc. and Salori Life will not be liable for any refund, compensation or consequences.
- As lawful consideration for the agreement with Salori Life to participate in the tour, you agree that you will not make any claim against Salori Life, its group companies or its personnel or sue for bodily injury, emotional trauma, death, property loss or damage etc. however caused.
- We suggest every guest to get insured before joining the tour. In case of any accident or incident leading to insurance claim, guest will have to directly communicate with the insurance company and provide necessary documents asked for the claim settlement. Any grant or rejection of the claim will be solely the decision of the insurance company and Salori Life will not be responsible for the same. Any dispute arising about adequacy of settlement amount or rejection of claim should be directly dealt with the insurance company by the guests.
- Tipping is customary (unless otherwise stated in your tour itinerary inclusions) in all parts of the world for services rendered like porters, coach drivers, guides etc.
- Any friends, relatives or colleagues visiting guests on tour are not allowed to utilize any service unless they have taken prior permission and paid for the same in advance. Such admission or permission will be subject to availability.
- This agreement though entered on your behalf, also binds the heirs, assigns and legal representatives.
- Money to carry along: Salori Life generally includes all services and maximum sightseeing as per the tour itinerary, however guests should carry money for their personal expenses, shopping, optional sightseeing, local delicacies, beverages, additional facilities offered by the hotel/ resorts etc. and also for any emergency due to medical reason or unforeseen/ force majeure situations.
14.3 Shopping stops
Certain tours may include optional shopping stops. We take no responsibility for the quality, price, authenticity, or suitability of goods purchased at any shopping venue during a tour. All purchases are made at your own risk and discretion.
15. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform, or delay in performing, our obligations where caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, government action or travel restrictions, and supplier insolvency. In such cases, we will work in good faith to offer affected clients a credit, rebooking, or partial refund (net of unrecoverable supplier costs), as set out in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with any booking or membership is limited to the amount of agency or service fees paid to us for the relevant Service, excluding amounts passed through to third-party suppliers.
- Salori Life as an organization is a facilitator who coordinates with various independent service providers for tour related services which include but is not limited to airlines, cruises, railways, transporters, sightseeing companies, hoteliers, restaurateurs, caterers, snacks suppliers etc. Though the company takes utmost precaution to ensure the smooth operation of the tour, it has no control over the operations and the running of these service providers. Thus, in case of any issues faced by the guests at the time of availing the service (which is the sole responsibility of the service provider), Salori Life shall not be responsible or liable for compensation of any kind of operational inefficiency, misrepresentations, acts, omissions, errors, warranties, breaches or negligence on part of any service provider.
- Salori Life will not be liable for provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care that may be rendered in case of medical emergency or accident, and is not responsible for such risks and dangers that may arise beyond our control.
- Any gesture of courtesy extended by Salori Life towards guest/s in case of any force majeure/ unforeseen situation to minimize the impact, loss or damage, will not constitute as an admission of such liability or a waiver.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of enjoyment, lost income, or missed connections/events, except where such exclusion is not permitted by law.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
- For Travel Services booked in our capacity as agent, our liability does not extend to the acts, omissions, or service standards of independent third-party suppliers.
- For any withdrawal from the tour for whatsoever may be the reason, Cancellation Policy will be applicable. Company is not liable for any losses incurred by its guests in their personal capacity and hence have no liability relating to any loss of job/ business/ occupation/ contract/ interruption/ loss of business opportunity etc.
17. Corporate and Group (MICE) Bookings
For corporate tours, group bookings, or MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) arrangements, a separate Service Contract will be executed between Salori Life and the corporate entity or group organiser. The terms of that Service Contract shall apply alongside these Terms; in case of conflict, the Service Contract prevails.
18. Gift Vouchers and Loyalty/Reward Points
- Gift vouchers issued by us may be purchased and gifted for use against future bookings; they are subject to the terms printed on or accompanying the voucher, including validity period and redemption conditions.
- Reward or loyalty points (where applicable) are non-transferable, have no cash value, and may only be redeemed against future bookings as per our loyalty program terms. Points cannot be applied against deposits, taxes, or forex components unless specifically stated.
- In the event of tour cancellation (by you or by us), any vouchers or points applied to the booking will be reinstated or handled in accordance with our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
- Vouchers and reward points lapse on expiry and cannot be extended, reissued, or exchanged for cash.
19. Leave Travel Certificate (LTC)
We provide a Leave Travel Certificate to guests upon request for tours undertaken with us. The LTC is system-generated based on the confirmed and completed booking records and will be issued by your Travel Advisor on request. We bear no liability for any employer’s decision on LTC reimbursement eligibility.
20. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you believe you have been incorrectly charged, please contact us at [billing email] within [30] days of the charge before initiating a chargeback. Unwarranted chargebacks on services already rendered or non-refundable as per our Payment Policy may be contested; the disputed amount along with an administrative fee may be re-billed.
21. Media Release
We may photograph or film trips, classes, and events for marketing, website, and social media use. By participating, you consent to such use unless you notify us in writing before the relevant trip or session that you wish to opt out.
22. Intellectual Property and Trademarks
- All content on our website, app, and marketing materials — including itineraries, training programs, logos, brand names, and text — is owned by or licensed to Salori Life. All trademarks and service marks are our proprietary marks or those of our licensors. No content or marks may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without our prior written consent. Your use of our website constitutes a limited, personal, non-commercial browsing licence only.
- The name, logos, symbols, slogans, trademarks, service marks, creatives displayed on Salori Life website or any promotional material at any of the Salori Life sales offices etc. is an intellectual property of Salori Life. It is protected under laws and cannot be reproduced, copied, used either alone or in conjunction or combination with other trademarks, logos or otherwise in any manner which may be confusing or misleading. It also does not grant anyone a license, right or authority to utilize it in any manner. Any unauthorized use of the same, without the prior written permission and consent of Salori Life, will be in violation of the applicable laws and it will lead to an appropriate legal action.
23. Website Content and Product Accuracy
Our website and marketing materials are published in good faith. Product descriptions, hotel details, and pricing are sourced in part from third-party suppliers and are subject to amendment without notice. We do not endorse or recommend any particular property or product. You should confirm all material details with our sales team before making a booking.
24. Account Security and Fraud Prevention
If your booking or account shows signs of fraud, abuse, or suspicious activity, we reserve the right to cancel any travel reservations associated with your name, email address, or account, and close associated accounts. If fraudulent activity is confirmed, we reserve the right to take all necessary legal action; you may be liable for monetary losses including litigation costs and damages. To contest an account action, contact our customer service team.
25. Governing Law, Dispute Resolution, and Venue
- These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
- Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to mandatory mediation, followed by binding arbitration, with proceedings conducted in Gurugram, India under the applicable Indian arbitration rules.
- You agree to attempt resolution directly with us before initiating any third-party dispute process.

27. Severability, Waiver, and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision. These Terms, together with our Payment Policy, Cancellation & Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services and supersede all prior agreements on the same subject matter.
By proceeding with the booking, the guest confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and all applicable airline rules and policies.
28. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking or membership purchase governs that transaction. Material changes affecting active memberships will be communicated in advance via email or in-app notification.
